Thread in X-COM:EW forum

There is a thread in Firaxis' forum pointing out to this game. This is actually how I learned that this forum was active. Given the popularity of that game, maybe the devs (or friends) could actually drop a line there confirming that the game is still alive. I bet thousands of players there would be happy to know.
And no, I don't think there are too many ufo games... the more the better, especially ones like ET.

I agree. I came here from a forum on Xenonauts on Steam. If the thing were actually out, even as a beta, I'd put some cash down. Looks like the devs are going to have to move up the 4th quarter, 2013 release date.

I played all the original x com games and loved them. I am so looking forward to this game for the past couple years, I have come back to check if it is nearing release. So disappointing to find the release dates come and go again and again without any real news/info.

Playstation was where it started for me 1995 XCOM ENEMY UNKOWN was first
thank goodness that UFO EXTRATERRESTRIALS echoes all the game play of that original game
luckily the graphics are 10 x better as well
