Persistent Fighter Pilots!!!

I think this is a not so complex feature that would set you apart from everyone else.

Being able to hire/improve your fighter pilots. Even something as simple as two stats for fighter pilots, like "offence" and "defence" or Attack and Evasion would add a lot of flavour! Youd be able to track kills, transfer them between craft - maybe even have a mission to rescue a downed pilot; but that is a bit out of the way.

Anyways, it would be really cool adding that "human" element that all your soldiers have to the fighter pilots as well.

+1 on this, that's definitely something that would add a great deal of interest to air combat as well as ground combat (if the saving fallen pilot mission is included).

soldiers and pilots - not bad idea

but missions to save fallen pilot is too much i think. same way u need to add saving marins , saving scientis taken by ufo , save enginiers , save captured ppl , save president dog captured by aliens .......

+1 again. Why not? Certainly not in the base game but perhaps in an addon/dlc?

I also think that would be an excellent idea, as also would that following suggestion of rescuing shot down pilots. However, there would be a colossal gap between rescuing a pilot and rescuing anyone else; even soldiers, so I think it would be logical to only concentrate on them.

My opinion : I am against addons . I hope that there will be NO addons. Game should have have all implemented , and let players choose.

Ofc , one may like addons . But i `ll never understand why not put all together in one game , instead of creating bunch of tools .

I dont care about pilots, let them suffer a painful death anyday, so Pilots -1.
